                        I’m Back!!

I'
m pleased to announce that I’ve returned to Sorrento Canyon Golf Center. Under the new ownership of Jerry Park, the future looks very promising.

Many new plans have been discussed to create a premier practice and learning facility. Some of these future plans include covered hitting bays, an improved short game area, a grass hitting area, new range balls and mats. If revenues permit, a new clubhouse and restaurant along with double-decker hitting bays will be added.

I am looking forward to the upcoming season, and will once again continue to offer quality golf instruction to individuals and groups. In the past, corporate and group clinics were a huge success. I will once again tailor these programs to your specific needs.

A new junior golf program will also be offered that will include weekly group lessons, on-course instruction, and summer camps.

Dates, times and information for all upcoming clinics and programs will be included in upcoming newsletters.

I look forward to seeing all of you again and another great year of golf.

                 Alex Cejka Update

The Buick Invitational was Alex Cejka’s first tournament for the 2005 season. I have known Alex since my teaching days in Munich, Germany. Now on his third year playing on the PGA tour with earnings well over $3 million.

During the Buick week, I had the pleasure of observing the life of a PGA tour player. This new breed of tour stars from outside the ropes looks as though they lead a very glamorous life style, yet playing 18 holes and practicing golf six days a week, working out twice a day, makes you realize there is not much free time except to grab something to eat and sleep. Although we did manage to highjack him for a sunset cruise with friends aboard the Madrugador.

Alex has come out this year very motivated and determined. Now living in the US and well established on the PGA Tour, he's working hard on a new fitness regime and making some great changes in his golf swing. I look forward to seeing him in the winner circle this year.
