My goal is to help every student reach levels of achievement well beyond their expectations. I accomplish this by keeping in mind that individuals are unique with different physical abilities, strengths, and flexibility's. People from all age groups, male and female, learn differently; visually, kinesthetically and verbally.

Three steps to become a better player and lowering your score:

1. Technique - The goals of every golfer are similar: Learning how to repeatedly swing the club consistently and hit the ball in the direction and distance desired. Building a swing that fits his/her physical and mental parameters is key.

To accomplish this, a player should keep in mind that the ball reacts to the swinging motion of the club. To change one's ball flight, a player needs to change his/her swing characteristics. The ways to do this are endless. Some physical and mental. Most problems start with incorrect fundamentals (grip, stance, posture, ball position, and alignment).
Mastering the short game is critical to lowering your golf score. 80% of all shots are played from 100 yards or less. By using a combination of proven drills, exercises and techniques (putting, chipping, pitching and bunkers), you will soon become successful achieve this.

3. Course Management - The art of playing the course within an individual's capabilities. Taking what you have learned and practiced and being able to use it effectively on the golf course. Choosing the right shot for the particular situation and then executing it to the best of your ability. Learning how to stay focused and staying in the moment (one shot at a time). Knowing what effect playing from different lies (uphill down hill side hill) heavy rough or tight lies, and adverse conditions such as, wind rain. All of these and more need to be taken into consideration when playing your best golf.
My joy and passion for teaching comes from the positive feedback I receive from watching my student's progress into better players. My teaching success has been the ability to instruct each individual in a way they can understand, so they can achieve their own personal golfing success.
