| Tim
came to me over a year ago. He is a very powerful hitter, reaching
over 210 yards with a 5-iron. Tim's goal was to become more consistent
and improve his direction and distance.
As
you can see in the left photo, Tim had too much movement in his
lower body causing his backswing to be too long. This excess movement
was causing inconsistencies in his ball flight. The photo on the
right shows the new position, allowing Tim to have better control
of his swing and a more consistent ball flight.
This
is just one aspect of specialized instruction designed for Tim to
help him reach his goals.
"When I started seeing Brian I was shooting in the mid 80's
and was
hitting the ball very inconsistently. I would pull a ball left,
then push a shot far right on the next shot. After just one lesson
I had already seen improvement! He knew exactly what I was doing
wrong and was able to explain it, and even better, he was able to
show me on his computer where my swing was breaking down. Brian
is very easy to work with, and works with you to find the right
drills and swing for YOU.
I
worked on the things we discussed and I started hitting the ball
more
solid and consistent than I have in a long time. After a few more
lessons I had really started noticing differences in my scores.
I recently tied the lowest round of my life, 73 (+1) and I think
this will be the year that I break par for the first time.
Thanks
Brian for getting me back on track, I'll send you the scorecard
when I break par!" Take Care, Tim.
